Starting in the 1930s, old Westerns like Gunfight at the OK Corral, The Lone Ranger, and Bonanza came to life just a short drive away. When Hollywood’s A-list stars needed a quiet place to rest and recharge, Lodge On The Desert was a destination of choice.

Hollywood greats like John Wayne and Bing Crosby were guests who sought out this secluded oasis between times spent on set. Since then, hundreds of movies have been filmed on Tucson’s Old West stages, and countless film industry professionals have stayed with us, following in the footsteps of our earliest patrons.
